Leaking
Leaks from T-valve
-
Check that the washer is properly inserted with the “lipped” side up.
-
Check if Teflon tape (aka. Plumbers tape) was used when installing the valve. If not, re-install using plumbers tape.
- Make sure the fittings are firmly tightened by hand.
-
If steps 1 & 2 did not correct the issue, please contact Brondell support.
Leaks from hose
Check if the leak is coming from the fittings or the hose itself.
-
If it is leaking at the fitting, use Teflon tape to wrap the fitting.
- Make sure the fittings are firmly tightened by hand.
-
If this does not correct the issue, or if it is leaking from the hose itself, please contact Brondell support.
Leaks from underneath or inside the bidet
Contact Brondell support and an agent will help resolve your issue.
Remote Control
If the remote LEDs light up for a few seconds and go out, the remote is functioning normally.
If the lights do not illuminate, please check the following:
- Are there battery contacts in the remote?
- Is anything obstructing the battery contacts in the remote?
- Are the batteries properly installed?
If so, please check and/or replace the batteries.
If this does not resolve your issue:
-
Check the "Rear Cleansing" button found on the bidet itself. Does it start a wash?
If the remote lights up and the auxiliary "Rear Cleansing" button works on the bidet itself, please contact Brondell support and an agent will help resolve your issue.
Bidet Will Not Wash
The Brondell support team is happy to help you with your issues. Before contacting us, you can check the following common issues:
- Are you seated on the bidet when attempting a wash?
- Is the water supply turned on?
- Are the nozzles extending for a wash?
- Does the bidet wash for a short duration before stopping or is it washing for a full cycle? (2 minutes)
