Depending on the model of air filtration unit you have and filter type, it may be anywhere between 4-12 months. Consult your owner manual or check the product page for your unit at brondell.com for exact filter change specifications.
Are any tools required for replacing any of my air filters?
No tools are required for replacing ANY air filters.
Are my O2+ air filters recyclable?
Unfortunately, O2+ air filters are made from woven polyester fibers and are not recyclable at this time.
Can I clean or vacuum my filters and reuse them?
Only mesh prefilters can be cleaned or vacuumed and reused. For desired filtration results, please replace all carbon, true HEPA, or humidifier filters at their specified expiration dates.
What is a true HEPA filter and what does that mean?
A true HEPA filter qualifies as HEPA (high-efficiency particulate arrestance) under U.S. government standards, which means the air filter must remove (from the air that passes through) 99.97% of particles and allergens including dust, smoke, pet dander, mold spores and pollen that have a size of 0.3 µm (micron) or larger.
What is a true HEPA woven carbon filter?
Brondell's woven carbon formula effectively reduces smoke, odor, and harmful off-gassing VOCs, including formaldehyde and benzene.
