Depending on the model of water filtration unit you have and filter type, it may be anywhere between 6-24 months. Consult your owner manual or check the product page for your unit at brondell.com for exact filter change specifications.
Are any tools required for replacing any of my H2O+ water filters?
No tools are required for replacing ANY water filters.
Are my H2O+ water filters recyclable?
Unfortunately, H2O+ water filters are made from composite materials and are not recyclable at this time.
Are your filters phalate and BPA-free?
Yes, all parts in contact with water are phalate and BPA-free.
Is there an automatic water filter replacement reminder system?
The Pearl has a color reminder when it's time to change the filter, while the Cypress system requires that you write on the filters either the date they were put in or the date they should be changed, as 2 of the filters have a 6-month life and the remaining filter has a 12-month life. Brondell’s under counter Coral Systems as well as the Circle Reverse Osmosis System both include a chrome faucet with an integrated LED filter change indicator.
