Capella Reverse Osmosis System
Circle Reverse Osmosis System
Maximum counter depth
The included faucet can accommodate a counter up to 3” deep.
Maximum pipe size for drain clamp attachment
The included drain clamp for our Reverse Osmosis systems can accommodate a pipe diameter of up to 1.5” to drain waste water.
Air gap faucet requirements
The Circle RO System does NOT require an air gap faucet. There is anti-backflow built into the system, and the entire system is certified by the Water Quality Association (with the included faucet).
The Capella RO system includes an air gap faucet to prevent backflow. Please trim any excess slack when installing the drain line for this product.
Minimum pressure requirements
The Circle Reverse Osmosis system requires a minimum of 40psi to function.
The Capella Reverse Osmosis system requires a minimum of 35psi to function.
Plumbing requirements
You will need to first check the connection size joining the cold-water supply valve and the hose running to your sink (it should be either 1/2" or 3/8" in size) to install our Reverse Osmosis products
Alternative installations (refrigerator or ice maker)
It is possible, but not recommended. Alternative installations can cause a slower water flow and degrade the system over time. Water diverted away from the included faucet will not be tracked by the faucet’s measurement system, this can result in the filters needing to be changed significantly earlier based on water usage, rendering the faucet indicator inaccurate.
Pressure/booster pump compatibility
If your water pressure is below 40psi (Circle) or 35psi (Capella) a water pressure pump can be used to increase the water pressure going to the unit.
