What tools do I need to install a shower head?
Our products were designed to be installed by hand. However, in case you need to use tools to assist your installation we would recommend an adjustable wrench and a cloth to protect the finish of the shower arm or head when tightening the fitting.
Do I need plumber’s tape when installing a shower head?
Only for our Vivaspring Products.
Our Yuba, Corre, and Merrit products are designed to be installed without plumber's tape. Installing plumber's tape with these products will cause a leak.
Do I need to replace the shower arm when installing a new shower head?
Not usually. However, we do offer replacement and adjustable shower arms here!
Do VivaSpring shower filters work with both hot and cold water?
Yes, the VivaSpring reduces contaminants in both hot and cold water. Warm or hot water will intensify the redox oxidation process, leading to greater contaminant reduction.
