Are Brondell bidets easy to install?
We designed all of our products to be simple to install for the user on all standard toilets. A standard installation can take as little as 20 minutes. Our bidets will come with everything needed for a standard installation. Please reference our Flush Installation Videos for installation instructions and reference.
What parts come with your products?
We supply all the parts required for a standard toilet installation. If your toilet has a Skirted, One-piece, or French Curve design, additional installation parts may be required. All included parts can be found in the parts list in our product's owner manuals here.

What are the plumbing requirements for your bidets?
All Products: All of our bidets will require access to a Standard ⅞” fill valve. A flexible braided supply line from your shut-off valve to the toilet will also be necessary as some homes have alternative plumbing (such as a rigid pipe).
Non-Electric Dual Temperature Bidets: Our Dual Temperature non-electric bidets will require a 3/8 inch hot water hook up at a nearby sink’s supply valve.
The hot water tubing supplied for my Bidet Attachment/Ecoseat is not long enough. Do you offer longer tubing?
All non-electric dual-temperature products include 6 feet of hot water tubing for a standard installation. If you need longer tubing, it can be purchased on foot here.
What are the Electrical requirements for your bidets?
Our electronic bidets and heated toilet seats require an electrical outlet, operating on a standard 15/20 amp 120V/60hz GFCI Outlet (e.g., an outlet with an internal safety breaker, common in kitchens and bathrooms. If your outlet is more than three and a half feet from the toilet, you will need a grounded extension cord to operate your unit. For those customers interested in installing a new outlet specifically for the Swash, the optimum location when facing your toilet fixture is to the right side of the fixture underneath the toilet tank. For more information, see the "Installation" section in our product's Owner's Manual.
The Swash EcoSeat, SpaSuite Bidet Attachments, and Handheld Bidet Sprayers do not need electricity to operate.
What tools are required to install your product?
A Phillips head or standard screwdriver may be needed to remove the existing toilet seat and a standard wrench may be needed for loosening tight water supply connections. However, we recommend hand-tightening the bidet connections to avoid damaging the product.
Teflon tape, otherwise known as plumbers' tape, can help create a watertight seal between plumbing connections, ensuring a leak-free installation. This can be found online or at your local hardware store.
Can I use 3rd party parts for your product?
We understand that some toilets have a unique design. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you need alternate parts for a successful installation. We will provide or recommend approved alternate hardware as needed. Substituting with unapproved or third-party parts will void your warranty, and Brondell will not be held liable for damages.
What if my toilet is Skirted?
The Brondell Swash comes with all of the plumbing and mounting hardware necessary to install the bidet on a traditional toilet. However, many modern toilets have sleek designs intended to cover and camouflage plumbing connections, which makes a typical installation difficult or impossible. For this, we recommend using our Swash Alternative Replacement T-valve option, found here. The T-valve will connect at the shut-off valve at the wall instead of under the toilet tank. If your fixture also only has top-side access to the mounting bolts that hold the seat to the toilet, you will likely need top-mount hardware, found here.
What is the length of the power cord, can I use and extension cable?
The power cord length for Swash models ranges from 3.5 feet to 4 feet, depending on the bidet model. If your outlet is farther away, Swash bidets are compatible with all grounded 15amp extension cords.
Are your products compatible with seat risers?
Only the Swash S300/S900/S1000/S1200/S1400/CMAO/CAFSL models are compatible with Carex brand risers. You can find the exact risers compatible with these products at the links below.
Are Brondell arm control bidets compatible with other Brondell remotes?
No. Arm control products are incompatible with all wireless remotes.
