Ecoseat Non-Electric Bidet Troubleshooting

• Your home's water pressure is low/high

Brondell Ecoseats will directly reflect the water pressure and temperature of your home. To reduce or increase pressure, adjust your home's water pressure accordingly.

• The toilet seat or lid is unable to remain open at an angle of at least 95 degrees.

• Sediment/minerals have built up inside the control valve.

• If the knob was hard to turn before the break, sediment/minerals have built up inside the control valve.

• Ecoseat Replacement Wash Knob

• The T-valve washer was not installed.
  
  
• Teflon tape was not applied during installation.

For T-valve and hose leaks:

1. Turn off the water supply and disconnect the fittings of the leaking part.
   
   
2. Check the washers to ensure they are not damaged or missing.
   1. If they are damaged or missing, please contact Brondell Support for further assistance.
      
      
3. Clean the fittings appropriately and remove old Teflon tape.
   
   
4. Apply 1-2 layers of new Teflon tape to the leaking fitting.
   
   
5. Slowly turn the water back on and check for leaks.

If the leak persists or you are experiencing a leak coming from the bidet itself, please contact Brondell Customer Support using our Contact Form.

• The water supply is not open. 
  
  
• A 1 way check valve has been reinstalled backwards

1. Check the water supply valve under the toilet and ensure it is fully open. 

If the issue persists or you believe the issue is related to a check valve, please contact Brondell Customer Support using our Contact Form.

• The nozzle cap is missing.
  
  
• The Nozzle Cleaning feature is being activated. (on applicable models)

1. Ensure the knob is turned past the Nozzle Cleaning indicator on the control knob.
   
   
2. Manually pull down and inspect the nozzle to ensure the nozzle cap is present.
   
   

If you find you are missing the nozzle cap, please contact Brondell Customer Support using our Contact Form.

• Grime has built up on the nozzle.

We suggest cleaning your bidet's seat with a 50/50 mixture of water and rubbing alcohol, or using Dawn dish soap or Simple Green cleaning solution to clean the nozzle.

• The Ecoseat is not correctly installed.
  
  
• The seat or lid has been forced down instead of allowing it to close slowly on its own.
  
  
• The bumpers are not making contact with the toilet. (the toilet is not level)
  
  
• The Lumawarm has been installed on a toilet that is too big or too small for it. 

• The seat or lid has broken.
  
  
• The internal slow-close dampener has failed.
